The couple wanted the most bang for their buck but decided a limited one day venue wasn't going to fit their needs. Instead they wanted a whole weekend.
We searched all 50 states for the perfect set up. We were even looking at 2 houses one for his family, one for hers. When we stumbled across this 12 bedroom house that fit the whole crew, we knew we had to book it.
This property sits on 33 acres and had no limitations to which vendors we could use and didn't have any noise restraints. Each bedroom had it's own bathroom. The only catch, they had to go to Texas. Fortunately, most of their guests were traveling from out of state regardless. AliKay created the couple's wedding website (on the knot) and helped research the town of restaurants, activities and additional lodging.
All events happened here. The Rehearsal, The Night Before, The Wedding & The Morning After. Which allowed guests to not have to worry about additional transportation and allowed for timeline discrepancies.
AliKay aided the couple in finding the venue, coordinating questions with the owner and onto the event planning we went.
After meticulously studying the property ONLINE for months, AliKay divided the property into 4 areas to accommodate The Beauty Suite, The Cocktail Hour, The First Look/The Ceremony & The Reception.
See how each space was transformed below.

For this venue, we had to get crafty with a getting ready Beauty Suite for the Bridal Party. We converted the business center, by carefully unplugging the office supplies & storing them safely. AliKay provided a Hollywood Mirror, candles and vases to have a calm relaxing area for the girls to get ready.
Thank you AliKay Design Co for creating these custom robes!

We transformed this covered carport into an elegant cocktail hour to get the guests hyped for the evening. AliKay rented cocktail tables and a farmhouse table for a family member set up a grazing table to munch on & provided an ice table for drinks.
We utilized the venues jenga, corn hole & foosball table to entertain the guests.

With such a beautiful arch and scenery, we didn't need to do much for this intimate wedding. We utilized the venues chairs and put a simple aisle marker at the end of each row.
Out of sight of the guests at cocktail hour, we set the couple off to the right on the lawn to share their first look, share private vows & had their parents join them under the arch to share a private prayer before the ceremony.
Immediately following the ceremony, we took family & friend portraits, while the food truck was preparing dinner.

AliKay transformed the open dining room & covered patio for the reception by creating a beautiful seating area for guests, a champagne tower, cake table, open bar, a cigar and whiskey bar & a Photo Booth. The venue had a great walkway leading off the dining room where we parked the food truck close to the reception.

The wedding reception was absolutely beautiful—elegant, thoughtfully planned and filled with so many special touches. Every detail was clearly well thought out, creating a warm and unforgettable atmosphere. The games were super fun too! It was a truly lovely celebration from beginning to end!
-Jeanine, Mother of the Groom
What made the venue so special was how it gave everyone a beautiful and relaxed space to truly spend time together—from enjoying the pool, music, open bar, custom cookies and gorgeous décor to simply hanging out and making memories with family. The wedding day itself was so much fun, with the beautiful ceremony and cocktail hour, pizza truck, cupcakes and photo booth. One of our favorite personal touches was the cigar bar, especially because cigars are one of the groom’s hobbies and something he enjoys sharing with his brothers and friends. It made the celebration feel so thoughtful and personal to him. Overall, it was a wonderful weekend filled with great food, laughter, music and quality time with family.
